Phuket or Samui in May?

I am planning a trip from 19th-26th May to Thailand, and I was wondering which region has the better weather during the period. For Phuket, i was thinking Raylay, then phi phi, and for the samui option i was thinking of heading to Koh Tao.

Any advice is appreciated.

weather is pretty similar from what I remember - we have been to both around April -May time and it was lovely. I liked Samui better, but for no particular reason - both trying both and deciding for yourself!

thanks! Just looked at weather reports online, and it said to expect 24 days on rain in Phuket in May, but none in samui... So i think that is my answer. Cheers!
