Any chance we will see airlines offer discounts this summer in the USA to spur travels and the economy

um... the best time to buy the ticket is right now.... When the summer get closer, the ticket fare will go up to 10-20% since it is a peak season.

Also, going to the travel agencies are your best friend to look for ticket. Or, if you don't mind about the money issue, u can buy it from the airline official website. For example: Cathay Pacific
