Tourist visa requirements

I need all the advice I can get regarding the requirement of a hotel reservation for any tourist seeking visa for China.

I am a foreigner but my visa is already expired and I am out of China this time, but I have an existing house rent contract with Clifford Estate, do you think I still need the hotel reservation? The personnel at my local embassy could not give me the needed advice.

Should I need a hotel reservation, and I intend to apply for a 2-month tourist visa, do you think I need to book at a hotel for 2 months?

Please advice. Thank you so much.

hi there. I called the embassy here and asked about the same they answered that it's either you get a hotel reservation OR house rent contract (as in your case). So, I think you are even luckier than me. Good luck to you!
