Resort(accomodation) ideas in Gold Coast

We are travelling with our two year old twin girls in Dec to Gold Coast. Wanted to get some ideas on where to stay......I understand that Surfers Paradise may not be family friendly and there are charming places nearby. We are planning to hire a car and so should be mobile. Appreciate any ideas..

There is a whole range of accommodation options on this website. they have on-line brochures and are part of Queensland Tourism. Surfers paradise is family friendly but also the busier part of the GC. Broadbeach and Mermaid Beach are also nice spots. Since you have a car it won't really matter where you stay. You will want to book something soon since it's holiday season and very popular. Good luck and have fun!
