Jewelry appraiser

Anyone who know of a gem appraiser.
I would like to confirm the quality, carat of the jewelry I bought in Thailand. Since I have been seeing a lot of thai jewelry scam on various reputable forums.

I have checked chow sang sang and chow tai fook (where i am a regular customer) but they said they don't have the equipment to check it.
I am talking about sapphire gemstones

If you know of any establishment doing this, please advise. And how much do they charge.

You can try to go to the Pawnshop and pretend that you will pawn it.
