Thailand or the Phillippines? Posted by happygemini (361 days ago) It looks like thailand is troublesome now if we hit there, is the phillippines worth to visit? I have never been to the phillipines though, my original plan was visit thailand islands for whole month on DEC. any advise now? thank you! Posted by cd (349 days ago) Next time try the Phillippines. Cebu is pretty awful, but we went one year to Mindoro Island, near Puerto Galera. it was the most beautiful place I've been. Clear water and white sands - perfect for diving, snorkeling and some great food by the beach. Oh yes, massage for 60 minutes by government authorised masseuse at an unbelievable price of 200 pesos !!
