Hi olielle, my husband and I went Mirihi on the south-west tip of the Ari Atoll in August last year for two weeks. Despite warnings that the weather would be foul at that time of year, we had gorgeous sunshine every single day - just one thunderstorm at night. The island is TINY, your quintessential 'tropical paradise' hideaway - perfect for honeymooners or those wanting ultimate peace and tranquility. Don't expect nightlife or wacky entertainment....the options were sunbathing, strolling around the island (a 10min affair), swimming, snorkelling, scuba-ing, sailing, ping-pong, being pampered in the spa, working out in the gym, or sleeping. We are avid scuba divers, and dived 3 or 4 times a day - there is plenty to do and see on that score; even if you don't take the daily boat excursions (which we did), the house reef is beautiful. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, the spa wonderful....and the hammocks very comfortable! And NO ONE wears shoes at any time. We had a wonderful time - would go again any time!
