Other than the obvious - checking out the temples - there is not a lot to do in this town. There is a small street of bars where travelers tend to hang out...

Without question the two best places to stay are http://www.hoteldelapaixangkor.com/ (modern luxury hotel) and http://www.raffles.com/EN_RA/Property/RGA/ (luxury colonial)
