Try requesting special rates from Bangkok serviced apartments here http://bangkok.asiaxpat.com/property/serviced.asp

Last time I was there I a great deal using my Amex card at Ascott - these offers are not always on their web sites but if you request their best offers through the form and ask specifically for deals related to credit cards you may get a superb rate.
