Two months ago, I booked my trip to Palawan, Philippines for this Wednesday to Sunday. With the current situation, it would be out of my mind still proceeding to go on the trip even though it was an expensive one and one that I look so forward to so much. I called my travel agent and she said given the flights are not cancelled and my resort area is not affected, cancelling the trip would be a personal reason and so I would not get any refund back from airline, hotels and travel insurance.
Is this right? The country is in the emergency state. Manila is flooded and I have to make a domestic transfer in Manila. How can I still go sightseeing/having a relaxed time there??!! Any advice you can offer?
