Can anyone recomment a hotel near the Stanley market? Middleclass.

the closest hotel would be The Repulse Bay. BUT it is NOT middle-class, it is VERY high class. you would have to get a hotel on the north side on HK island and then take a bus or a taxi to Stanley. It's not difficult and would only take around 30-45 minutes (depending on traffic and where you start from).

Dear Cara, I know. I have been in HK, but I have reasons for staying in the neightbourhood of Stanley village/market.

A serviced apt. in Stanley Market is soon to open. It's on the upper level of Pizza Express building in Stanley restaurant alley. Went to check it out last week but was told that they will open in about 2 - 3 weeks time and the realtor did not have any more info. on rate.

I don't have any further info. You may want to ask round realtors located in Stanley area. It's the building with Pizza Express at the ground level.

Joycie, I was at Stanley Market today and there is a realtor next to the building I mentioned above. It's Rica Corp. tel. 2328-2660. You might want to call them and ask about the place.
