Phuket Weather in Oct

hello, I'm looking to get married on Oct 27, 2007 in Phuket. I am worried that it will still be raining season by end of Oct. Has anyone been at that time and can you let me know what the weather is like?

If you can avoid it please don't, I remember a honeymoon 19 years ago, mostly raining during our stay.
