going to angkor wat this coming sunday.
any tips etc?
think i've covered most bases, but would appreciate any comments.

When you get there buy a 3 day park pass. This will be cheaper than buying 3 1-day passes. Bring USD in small denominations as that is the currency of choice. Bring good walking/hiking shoes to climb around the temples. Bring a flashlight as you will want to catch a sunrise and you should get there when still dark so flashlight is important.

For a good spot to watch sunrise go to srah srang., and then visit Banteay Kdei and Ta Prohm temples which are within walking distance after seeing sunrise. Other must see temples - Banteay Srey (pink temple), Beng melea (jungle temple) - do these 2 on the same day as they are farther out and in same direction. Of course Angkor Wat and Bayon - recommend you visit Angkor Wat first in the afternoon to get the nice light and then for a sunrise visit (set up beside the northern pond).
