- Always wear sunscreen stay out of the sun. This will keep dark splotches away.
- Avoid foods that make you break out. Chocolate is a well known culprit.
- Use a good cleanser, toner and lotion appropriate for your skin type.
- Every week or so, use a face mask to clean the pores.
- Pray that you have the correct genes! ;)

I dunno about that, I eat a piece of chocolate every day but never get zits, I guess it depends on the individual and whether you eat rubbish chocolate or decent ones..?
And what about chocolate facials?
If acne is your problem then it's a hormonal imbalance thing that needs sorting out professionally.
If it's just the occasional break out you get, then sort out your skin care routine.
Remember your skin is an organ that sheds, excretes and absorbs, if it's blocked and unable to function properly then you'll get problems.
Cleanse thoroughly, but not harshly.
Have a gentle weekly scrub.
Use a good quality moisturiser that's suitable for your skin type.
And of course drink plenty of water, eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly to get that blood pumping through your veins! There's nothing like a good work out to give you a healthy glow!

"I dunno about that, I eat a piece of chocolate every day but never get zits, I guess it depends on the individual and whether you eat rubbish chocolate or decent ones..?" The type of chocolate is irrelevant IMHO. It depends on the individual as you say.
