Massage, pedicure & manucure advice

Hello Ladies !
Such a long time i haven't had a massage, and my feet look really awful !
However, i am very concerned about the safety/hygiene of those "spas"...
I'd like to bring my own mani/pedi kit, but have no idea as to what (which "tools" i shall buy indeed)... and whether i should buy them in HK or in SZ...
In fact, am heading to SZ this WE and, instead of shopping,I would love to have a nice massage and / or maybe a manucure or pedicure... (which is why i am not posting in the Shopping in Shenzhen thread): any places you would recommand ?
Also is it safe to put your handbag / passport away while you get massaged ?

Went to SZ and didn't dare try the pedicure stuff... waiting for your answers to buy my own kit...
Any advice about what to buy exactly (pictures welcome).

I have no idea re:SZ spa scene. As for HK, I have tried a lot of different places over the years and my favorite is still Frederique/Paua Spa @ Center Stage(new Name) for all my spa needs for the last four years. I do my mani/pedi/facial/microderma/massage there. And its great. So give that a go. Yes, it is on the tad pricey side compared to other local spas but the therapists are terrific, well trained, and the new spa is brand spanking new and spotlessly clean not to meantion stylish. And once you see their surroundings, I dont think you would want to buy your own kits even if such things existed. Why bother with the details? YOu go to spa to relax not to bring your own stuff and worry about your hand-bags. So enjoy.
