Does anyone been to Beauty Wave for Brazilian Waxing? Can give me some comment please? I saw most of the ladies are recommand Dolma at the firm and where is the shop? what is the charge by Dolma? Are they speaking english as my friends she want to try waxing too but she can't speak english very well.

Dolma is really good as i used to go to Dolma for my waxing for many years when i was living in Mid-Levels.i have now shifted to Fanling,so bit tough travelling to Central.Any good suggestion for waxing around in Fanling?

Hi! Dolma is really good, i went to her for my first brazilian waxing on last week and she is so kind and lovely thank you for the ladies recommond here here and definately I will go back to her after 4 weeks :-)

To sharla-babe, hi there, I also live in Fanling but I don't think they got any good waxing ( brazilian waxing ) in this area but if you want a waxing on other part on the body like arms, legs then i can tell you one which I go often for the face threatment. Let me know.

I believe in old and faithful beaute par zai. I have known them for 20 years, and getting all my treatments done by them. Its so much easier and saves time going around to different places. Now my daughter and daughter in law goes to them often. They have great wax too!

Dorma is good,i would specially recommend her for girls who's waxing for the first time as her technique is very good and she's so good at keeping you at ease.Her establishment is clean, professional, private and totally comfortable for anyone, even the first-timer. I have tried several of the recommended ladies from these threads, Dolma, Nicole from Beauty Par Zai and several from Sense of Touch.

I agree that Joey from Nude is the best. Very efficient, thorough, and professional.

The only problem is that I called yesterday to make an appointment with Joey and was told she has left! Does anyone know where Joey has gone to?

You may go to Stanley and there is a shoe shop got the size up to 45.
it is near the book store but i don't rmemeber exact location but definately next to the book store. good luck.

Hi - i used to do b/waxing before but then i stopped and instead i started shaving.

I know this is not great but do you think i can go back to waxing? Even my hair gets thicker now? I'm always scared of the pain but i think i need to do it.

This was in a thread for threading "There is one in WC called Riviea No: 28920839". THANKS for the recommendation!! Reena was great there was a thread ( excuse the pun) about her time keeping which I told her but as she says if a client is late it all gets backed up I had lip, eyebrow and but the best part was she also did waxing and her brazilian wax was only $180 after normally paying more than double it was a great find!! all for $215!! You cant get any better than that and way better that traipsing all the way to Khoob in TST! And it was clean and came with a smile

i googled 'cold wax'.hot wax involves melting of the wax substance prior to use.cold wax >wax is already applied to the pulling strip.wax is in a semi-solid state and remains that way throughout the process.

Can't wait for my 2nd brazilian wax, I've done my first time in Australia, and the experience is extremely painful. I've booked Bliss Spa, they said their service is the best in town, and painless. I hope it's true. After reading all the posts, you guys suggest Dolma, how much does she charge?I've called Chandler Salon, they charge $450, Bliss Spa charges $450 , so I choose Bliss Spa. And in Australia, I just paid $200. How come it's much more expensive in HK!!

A lot of things are more expensive in Hong Kong than, say, Australia, because rents here are extraordinarily higher and so this is absorbed into the cost of services.

I've tried 6 places in HK for brazilian/hollywood and I have to say, I was disappointed with Beauty par zai as they made me yelp with pain and caused a lot of bleeding when it shouldn't.... so now I've settled with Joey who used to be at Nude but now is at Nu and I would not go to anyone else but her now.

I am so sorry to hear that. My first brazilian i did was at beaute par zai, it was of course painful but it wasn't that bad and i am still going there. It was my mom who used to go there and i started, now even my friends go there. My friends actually said this is the only place who made pain bearable so i think it depends on people to people.

Finally, I had my 2nd Brazilian waxing in Bliss Spa yesterday. The place is fantastic, and the service is excellent, the lady who serviced me is Rosa, she is really nice and did a great job, almost painless!! much much better than my first time. The price is a little bit high, but I think it's reasonable, cause the place is wooo~~~~ and my bf really appreciated my 2nd Brazilian wax :b $450 plus 10% service charge.

I go to Reena - I have very stubborn eyebrows and hate doing them myself. She is no nonsense and the whole thing is over fast. It is just her in a little room in Wan Chai. The brazillian was again, fast, in and out. Since she is fast, she can normally fit me in for a quick eyebrow tidy whenever i am in Wan Chai. She trained in India and has excellent english.

I have used Reena for waxing my arms, but have to say from my own experience was not all that impressed.
The wax she used was ok but the strips were well below par and seemed to be a bit of a DIY job. The hair on my arms broke as opposed to coming out from the root so needless to say it was a waste of my time and money!!

Won't be going back.
