how do you get into fashion events etc..

just a thought, cause the no of fashion events in hk now are expanding, and was wondering how do ppl actually get them:s esp when they seem very very exclusive and hard to get now!

I receive invitations to the fashion events all the time - yes they seem to be many brands marketing themselves.

I think I was put on the mailing list simply by having a Lane Crawford card, by registering for their mail-outs with the boutigues where I have shopped.

I also think that at some of the social events where you are asked to put your name card into a barrel for a 'door prize' or such the event organisers provide your information for the marketing sections of the fashion houses.

Not sure but I certainly have been surprised to be getting an invitation from some of the brands.
