Make up for oily skin
Posted by Rainy (102 days ago)
Hi,
Wanna see if anybody could give me some recommendations on which make up and skincare to use for oily skin. I'm using Neutrogena foundation which I can't get in Asia so I'm thinking maybe I should change.. Also my skin is already oily but it gotten worse here, especially in the summer.. my skin breaks out a little too.. :-(
Anybody got the same problem?

I do!
I have found Laura Mercier foundation excellent. They do oil free in various coverages, including a tinted moisturiser that has a sunscreen (I prefer this in HK summer). You can find it in Lane Crawford.
As far as skincare goes, I have found the Kiehls range really good for this climate (at Seibu and also there's a Kiehls shop in Elements mall and also near Times Square)

I read somewhere about Clinique foundation.. I might give it a try.. a bit friendlier to the wallet.. :-)

I had the same problem when I first moved here, especially in the t-zone. Have had good success with Clinique moisture in control lotion all over, then Clinique pore minimizer, t-zone shine control on the t-zone. I use these both under foundation and have seen a big difference.

My vote for Clinique oil-free foundation! It is light enough and provides enough coverage! I liked Tart oil-free tinted moisturizer too.

Do any of these products have sunscreen in?

I do not believe so (on the Clinique and Tart ones). I use the Clinique sunscreen.

Tart oil-free tinted moisturizer? Is that one of Clinique's line? I've never heard of it... Also which Clinique foundation do you use?
