Hair Color Virgin

Hi!
I want to have my hair colored for the first time and I'm afraid that the wrong hairdresser may ruin my mane.

My hair was straightened last July. And I've always had long brownish black hair. I'm bored with it and I want change. The thing is, I also don't know what color to choose that would suit my skin color. So a good, professional hairdresser with advice to share would be nice.

Any salon recommendations? English speaking please and would appreciate if you can give me idea how much will it cost me. Not really in a hurry so would be looking forward to your opinions.

Dear Searcher
If you have not coloured your hair before, it is important that you are not put off by having it done badly.
It would be best to go to a salon with pictures of various hair colour ideas that you find attractive, ask which products they use, and how they would go about achieving it, what would you have to do to maintain it, and the degree of damage it might cause.
Having said that, please feel free to arrange to come in for a non-committal consultation, we will show you the colour charts and let you know all the ins and outs, and options you have.
