Letter of Probate

Hi girls, can any one help to tell from where and how to apply for the Letter of Probate or Letter of Administration.
One of my friend recently lost her young husband and she has to claim her husband's MPF. Any quick ways to help her..please let me know...Thank you si much in advance

There is no quick way, she will need to make an application to the Probate Office in Hong Kong, assuming he was a Hong Kong resident. Any creditors of her husbands estate would have to be paid before the beneficiaries of his estate could receive any assets. If her husband left a will, then the Executor of the will would take care of this, or appoint a lawyer to do so.
