To whom it may concern

I write to certify that I have employed Ririn Saputrie as a domestic helper from March, 2012 until present. She will be under my employ until May, 2012.

I also write to give Ririn's prospective employers additional background on her work with my family, and to wholeheartedly recommend her as a domestic helper. We currently have three small children ages (3,2,newborn). Ririn has approached each of her domestic duties with energy and an ever-present positive attitude, and is especially good with our newborn baby. We have never heard her utter a negative word regarding her duties, and her pleasant demeanor is admirable. she is also an excellent cook, and can make a variety of Western and Asian dishes. She is smart, reliable and skilled. In short she has been an exemplary employee.

She has also become a good friend of ours, and during our discussions with Ririn, we have decided that it is in her best interest is she seeks work elsewhere. Ririn is very active in her community, which is composed of fellow domestic helpers from Indonesia and the Philippines. she writes regularly for several publications (winning numerous awards in the process) and is heavily involved in her church. My wife and I tend to travel for extended periods of time, and we need a helper who is able to accompany us on these trips; however, we feel that remaining nearer to her community is the best use of her talents. We are also considering a move to South Lantau, which, would take her further from Central.
Iwish to stress that we are helping Ririn in this manner because she is our dear friend. she would have happily continued working for us otherwise. I think it is also important to note that her involvement with her community has never once negatively affected her work. She was able to work with my wife to handle househod chores. Indeed, her involvement with her community and love of writing helps her stay connected to her culture and excercise compassion on others, which in turn has made her a better employee.
