Experienced Contractor / Building Surveyor Needed

Hi. We finished an extensive renovation project in Sai Kung over a year ago. The renovation is riddled with problems that the original contractor and designer cannot solve. So we are looking for a contractor and / or building surveyor experienced with building houses to pick up the pieces. Must speak and write English. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you had some bad luck with your contractor!! I know someone with a similar problem with Wolfgang Derler and his company WP Engineering! They had to get their whole flat completely redone due to the extensive list of problems....bad / illegal wiring, substandard flooring, windows without safety / stay bars installed...windows falling out...not sealed properly...the list goes on and on. I do know that they successfully sued WP Engineering, Wolfgang Derler and his life partner successfully for breach of contract, misrepresenation and 2 counts of defamation. Derler and his life partner hijacked the clients photo on facebook and created defamatory FB profiles and posted pedaphillic messages to his former clients nephews and one of their friends! I understand he is also going before the courts due to a case the EMSD has brought against him for peforming unauthorized electrical work. He is not registered with them to be doing electrical work yet he has done such work for clients.

I have lived in Hong kong 15 years and used many contractors & designers during my time here.

There is one I would truely recommend, DSL proeprty developers.

I have used them for my home design & renovation projects and small custom furniture projects.

They will be able to help you out and offer any needed advise.
