Renovation salvager

Can anyone recommend a good quality builder to transform our recent renovation into what what we were hoping for?

From my initial calling around, many designer/contractors are busy with large scale projects and don't have the time for fixing a bunch of errors made by someone else.

Someone with excellent spoken English is a must as poor communication is what led to this cry for help in the first place...
