How does one cover the "insurance risk", I mean the risk of loss or damage to some possessions in a case like this?
It could be a big obstacle to getting a transaction done, since the potential risk to the LL could be larger than any income he might make

I am also looking for somewhere to stay for 4-8 weeks while my Saikung house is being renovated. It is for myself, wife and 2 kids aged 5 and 7. Timeframe is roughly Mid January onwards. We live in Saikung, and work in Kowloon Tong so prefer somewhere that is handy to either or both places. We can pay up to $2500 per week and would be happy to pay a bond as necessary.
