LAMMA Island : 5,000 new residents planned
A plan released yesterday would double population from 5,900 to 11,000.
+ One third of new residents would live in subsidised housing
+ Development planned for 20-hectare former quarry along northern coast of Sok Kwu Wan
+ A new resort planned with 260-room hotel
The Plan has been "well received" so far - say the SCMP
