Good real estate agent recommendations

I am thinking of selling my flat and would like to get an agent to give me an assessment/appraisal and market the property if I decide to sell.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a highly rated one who deals in buying/selling rather than renting. There are so many bad agents out there, but I would like one who is good with expats, but also with good clients/contact network. And of course that is very professional.

Thanks and regards

Location matters a great deal.

A "good" agent will be one who knows your area well, and can identify all the positive reasons for living there, and also understand the merits of your specific property.

Depending on the price, it may be a real challenge now to find a keen buyer, even for a "good" agent, since most buyers are content to sit on their hands.

There's a good chance you will be disappointed.

For an intelligent agent, a good client now is one who is flexible on the price they will sell at (is that you?), or for Buyers, one who is willing to pay market price. Most buyers now are looking for a bargain, and want something below the market price. If they are going to pay "full market price", then have to feel like they are getting something special.

Forgot to mention the flat is in the Midlevels. Any recommendations for an agent would be appreciated.
