Where it all started For the love of Rugby... In just over 16 years, Hong Kong’s fastest growing sports club has developed a reputation for success that is the envy of the Hong Kong sporting community. Discovery Bay Pirates have won a disproportionate share of silverware during our relatively short history. Over the years, the rugby sections have amassed honours through both trophies and players representing Hong Kong at National level. Netball, a thriving part of the Club, also has its fair share of accolades, along with the Pirates’ Dragon Boating team. In 2014 we started a mini hockey section. The Pirates have earned a special place amongst the Hong Kong sporting community where we are well known for our core values of sportsmanship, fair play, passion and an appetite for success. With our skull and crossbones motif emblazoned on our black and green shirts, there is no mistaking the Pirates when we take to the rugby pitch, netball court, hockey pitch or to water. Today we have almost 1,200 members and a great community of sports-loving supporters and parrtners.

DeA was formed in 1988 by a group of local students and teachers, as part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, with many players coming from Po Leung Kok. In 1995 when DeA won the HKRFU’s ‘Team of the Year Award’ it had barely 15 members and played in the 5th Division, but by 1997, DeA boasted five teams playing in the men’s leagues, including the Premiership, and a woman’s team. In 2014 the Club merged with USRC to form a part of this longstanding club, as the new rugby section of USRC , which opens a new chapter in the development of rugby for all, at USRC Tigers RFC!

The Flying Kukris rugby football club is entirely run by volunteers, mostly parents, to provide rugby training to both boys and girls from the age of 4 up to 18. We are always willing to welcome new members, both players and parents keen on supporting the Club. There's no major need to know much about rugby; merely an enthusiasm for sport. Coaching courses are available from the HK RFU. There are numerous roles available that are not directly related to coaching, so come and join us.

Kowloon Rugby Club was established in 1976 remains one of the six Premiership Rugby Clubs that competes throughout Hong Kong’s domestic leagues. The club acts as an inclusive sporting club providing rugby and netball opportunities for members from the Kowloon, Sai Kung and the New Territories districts. We pride ourselves on playing sport the "Loon Way" which translates as, Hard, Fair and Fun Our rugby section provides playing opportunities from quality Youth & Mini’s rugby clubs to elite environments with a social team hosting Kowloon’s long serving members. Establishing an U19 Rugby Academy in 2019 provides a performance-based program for those graduating from the U16 youth club programs to continue their development in a senior environment. On a weekly basis you will see both male and female members playing either social, development or elite sport, all looking to do their best and enjoy the camaraderie and values that rugby offers

University Rugby Football Club was established in 2001 to develop local players from within the Hong Kong University community. While always maintaining this ethos, and enjoying success along the way, URFC has grown as a club, not only seeking to foster young Hong Kong rugby talent but also a high level of social rugby. The club attracts members from Hong Kong and abroad drawing in seasoned social players, players wanting to get back into the game and those who are yet to experience the joys of contact rugby. Fielding teams across multiple divisions of play ensures that our members can compete at their desired level. Home is Sandy Bay, Hong Kong’s only seaside pitch, where we have weekly training sessions run by our qualified coaching staff and also where we play most of our games. The rugby season runs from September to March every year. Trainings are Tuesday and Thursday nights during the season, and we play touch down at Sandy Bay during the summer as well. Full year membership dues are between HK$650 and HK$1,300. Members are registered with the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union, receive playing kit and social shirt, are invited to all our club sponsored social events, and receive an allotment of Hong Kong Sevens Tickets. Students and under 25s receive membership discounts.

Valley RFC; Your home to Rugby, Netball and Hockey in Hong Kong! Established in 1975, Valley RFC has grown to be more than a Rugby Club with our offerings catering for all ages and abilities in a number of sports. The club welcomes newcomers of any standard. Training in Happy Valley is on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 pm
