About this event

The Intangible Cultural Heritage Mart 2026 returns to Hong Kong Cultural Centre as one of the annual highlights of the Hong Kong Culture Festival. This year's theme, "Crafts in Connection, Tradition in Continuation", celebrates the preservation and evolution of traditional craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a variety of interactive booths, traditional craft demonstrations and cultural workshops. Hands-on activities include bamboo steamer weaving, papercraft night lamp making, traditional flower button making and hand-stirred sugar ginger. The programme also features traditional performances, cultural games and photo installations inspired by Hong Kong's intangible heritage. Visitors can discover the fascinating process of traditional movable type printing through demonstrations by experienced craftsmen. Offering free admission and family-friendly experiences, the three-day event provides an opportunity to explore Hong Kong's living cultural traditions.
