Deputy Head of Fixed Income Investment

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of fixed income investment professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and high performance culture;
  • Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies in alignment with the house strategy and risk appetite;
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of the fixed income investment market and a different range of fixed income securities such as Government and corporate bonds and other debt instruments;
  • Identify investment opportunities within the fixed income markets and make recommendations for portfolio allocations and adjustments;
  • Monitor and evaluate perfomance of fixed income portfolios, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines, investment restrictions, and regulatory requirements;
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and developments that may impact fixed income investments, and provide timely insights and recommendations to senior management;
  • Build and maintain relationships with external market participants such as brokers and investment managers to access market insights and developments;
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and presentations for clients, senior management and regulatory authorities;
  • Participate in fund marketing and product development;
  • Assist in other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder or above in or above in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields with overseas educational background will be plus;
  • With at least 7 years of fixed income investment management experience (of which at least 5 years of managing fixed income type authorized fund);
  • In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, including different types of fixed income securities, credit analysis, interest rate risk management, and relevant regulatory frameworks;
  • Excellent leardership and team management abilities;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct thorough research and due diligence on fixed income investment opportunities;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey investment concepts and strategies;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and supervisory skills;
  • Strong network within the financial industry;
  • Good command in written and oral English and Chinese including Putonghua.
