Responsibilities:
- Lead the project management team in Hong Kong, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project execution.
- Report directly to the APAC Head of Project Management, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Manage a small project team, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring collaboration and effective communication within the team.
- Conduct presentations to clients, showcasing project plans, progress, and outcomes, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Oversee all projects in Hong Kong, monitoring progress, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered with high quality, within the specified time frame and budget constraints.
- Take the lead in data centre relocation projects, coordinating activities, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless transition of infrastructure and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in large-scale project management, preferably within the IT services industry.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong experience in data centre relocation projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate team members, drive results, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
