Area Insurance Manager - Branch Distribution & Services

 

Responsibilities

  • Boost up insurance sales and optimize capacity and effectiveness for retail insurance business
  • Lead a team of Insurance Specialist to achieve Area Insurance Goal
  • Formulate and implement business strategies to support assigned area meeting overall targets and generating extra insurance fee income
  • provide proficient coaching and counsels to and organize sales briefings for frontline sales staff on insurance selling and professionalism enhancement in a timely and responsive manner
  • Assist frontline marketing staff to identify suitable customers for marketing of products, prepare presentation materials to customers and build up business base
  • Ensure operations are in compliance with the Banks policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • University graduates in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economic or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in banking / finance sector and / or insurance companies
  • Pass the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Exam (Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
  • Sound technical knowledge of asset allocation & insurance products including equities, unit trust, bonds and treasury products, etc, preferably with insurance consultant experience
  • Strong self-motivation, able to work independently and under pressure;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of relevant selling procedures, practices, rules and sales compliance requirements,
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua
