Equity Trading System Support

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operation of all cash equity trading systems, including Fidessa, Market Trader, ULBridge, Hong Kong Exchange connectivity, algorithmic and FIX connectivity.
• Maintain high availability and business continuity for the firm's trading systems, including performing system health checks, monitoring, and testing.
• Analyze, develop, test, and implement new client connections and trading system enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide hands-on support to traders, escalating issues to management as necessary, and collaborate with business owners and IT teams to prioritize and resolve technical and functional problems.
• Coordinate with exchange providers on various projects and ensure compliance requirements are met.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in the investment banking or securities trading industry, with a strong background in developing and supporting equity trading applications, exchange connectivity, and FIX client integration.
• Proficient in supporting Fidessa and ULBridge FIX systems, as well as familiarity with various system monitoring tools.
• In-depth knowledge of the FIX messaging protocol from both client and exchange perspectives, and proven experience in client testing.
• Expertise in system programming on Windows, Unix, and SQL database platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
