Accountant/ Finance Officer

My client is a financial institution looking for an accounting officer to join their team. The candidate is expected to work on all rounded accounting function such as full set accounting. Candidate without Financial Institution experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure accurate and timely payments.
  2. Accounts Receivable: Monitor customer accounts, prepare invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  3. General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  4. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and identify any discrepancies.
  6. Ad hoc Tasks: Assist in various ad hoc tasks as assigned by the senior accounting team members.
