Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the human resources function to support the organization's strategic goals and objectives, ensuring that all employees are aligned with these goals and can contribute to their success.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and employees at all levels.
* Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies, policies, and procedures to attract, engage, and retain high-performing employees.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to employment, labor, and human resources.
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
* Conduct periodic reviews of HR processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implementation of new initiatives.
* Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to promote a culture of belonging and fairness for all employees.
* Provide guidance and support to the CEO and other senior executives on talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
* Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external vendors related to HR services, such as payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment firms.
* Collaborate with other departments across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
* At least 10 years of progressive experience in a human resources role, with a focus on managing large teams and driving organizational change. Experience in financial services or internet-based companies is highly desired.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, department heads, and employees at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to support HR decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve conflicts effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex issues.
* A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and the ability to create a culture of belonging for all employees.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* A valid passport and the ability to work in Hong Kong.
