Job Purpose:
• Lead the System Development team to develop secure and quality IT system to support and grow Dah Sing Banking Group's digital business.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for mobile application development, implementation and maintenance according to specifications;
• Prepare documentations including functional and technical specification
• Perform system test, assist user acceptance test and performance test
• Participate in Agile process, DevOps, Automation Test
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms.
• Manage small to medium size mobile development projects.
• Conducts regular mobile system capacity planning.
• Holds overall responsibility for major application environments including operational support
• Manages external relationships with vendors and consultants
• Assists Head of Digital Technology in providing training to the staff of the department
Incumbent Requirements:
• Degree holder in a related discipline
• Possess related experience in mobile development (Android in particular); experience in managerial role would be an advantage
• Experience in enabling hybrid mobile app & mobile security technologies
a. Hands-on experience with Apache Cordova or Ionic Framework
b. Android development environment and language, e.g. Android Studio and Kotlin
c. HTML5 and JavaScript
d. Experience working on third-party libraries and APIs
e. iOS development experience will be preferable but not a must
f. RASP (Run-time Application Self Protection), such as Promon
g. Certificate pinning
• Experience in the full mobile app development and maintenance life cycle, from requirement gathering to mobile app submission and publication
• Good communication skills and leadership potential
• Independent and able to deliver quality results under tight schedule
• Banking experience is preferred but not essential
