Commercial Banking, Chief of Staff Office
Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.
For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking high caliber individual to join us as Senior Manager, Chief of Staff Office, CMB.
Principal responsibilities
  • Reporting to Chief of Staff, Commercial Banking (CMB), the Senior Manager, Chief of Staff Office is responsible for supporting the formulation and leading the delivery of the strategic priorities across CMB, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Support application of external market knowledge and internal benchmarks and insights to identify the opportunities to improve performance and practices.
  • Assist CMB Chief of Staff to manage CMB commitments across all level governance forums and keep track of progress towards achievement of objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationship with entity and product partners, frontline and Wholesale COO teams to drive collaboration.
  • Assist CMB Chief of Staff to develop people strategy to attract, engage and retain talents for succession.
  • Help to ensure robust risk assessment, escalation, governance and compliance aligned with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Support the continuing development and improvement of the processes, structures, capabilities, capacity, operating model and infrastructure needed to maximise the end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • University Graduate with a minimum of 10 years working experience.
  • Strong track record of performance in COO, business management, transformation and/or related functions.
  • Solid business acumen with long-term vision in driving the formulation of CMB strategies and managing business performance.
  • Proven experience in project management and planning skills with the ability to multi-task projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform detailed analysis and synthesize key issues from complex content.
  • Excellent partnering and influencing skills, customers and stakeholders' engagement.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
