Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the business development team to formulate and implement business development plans to support the company's overall growth objectives;
- Identify and analyze market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to form the business development strategy;
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, partners, and strategic alliances (from external sources and the Group's internal resources);
- Lead the team in prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals;
- Collaborate with product development and investment teams to ensure integration and alignment of overall business development objectives;
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of business development metrics;
- Build and maintain a high performing business development team, including recruiting, training, and performance management;
- Oversee the AML/KYC procedures to ensure in compliance with regulations, internal policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree holder or above in Economics, Finance, Business, Marketing or related fields;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in fund sales and distribution in the finance sector (candidates with less experience will be considered for the Deputy role);
- Type 4 and 9 license holder is a must;
- Possesses good client resources and with excellent communication skills;
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursing, and closing new business opportunities;
- Results oriented with strong initiative and drive to succeed;
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities;
- Strong orgainisation skills with team management experience;
- Familiar with SFC and other relevant regulations;
- Good command in written and oral English and Chinese including Putonghua.
