Research Division - Vice President

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on global macroeconomic, monetary policy and financial market trends;
• Generate trading and investment ideas based on macro and market developments;
• Prepare high-quality periodic and ad-hoc reports on market hotspots;
• Organize and participate in meetings and marketing events.
• Communicate house views to both external and internal clients effectively, including respond to client requests and media interviews;
• Participate in projects or assignments under the guidelines of supervisor.

Requirements:

• PhD Degree or MSc Degree in Economics from top universities;
• 3 years experience (with PhD degree) / 6 years experience (with MSc degree) or above in investment banking, consulting, research or private equity or other relevant experience;
• Research experiences from financial institutions or government agencies higher preferred;
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
• Strong ability in data mining and information searching from different sources;
• Able to write research reports complying with regulations and in-house standards;
• Able to communicate and convince research ideas effectively;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to form effective working relationships;
• Proactive in taking responsibilities and be able to multi-task;
• Passionate and motivated to contribute to investment banking field;
• Fluency in English and Mandarinï¼›Both written and verbal communication skills;
• Capability of working closely with team members and delivering quality work under tight schedules.
