Key Responsibilities
- Support Import trade product development on both product and operation levels, review and/or revamp the respective operation procedures in order to mitigate the associated risk factor when offering such product type to customers;
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations in Import Team;
- Understand and translate the skills and awareness to recent trends and market development into everyday work practices in the areas of Import Trade products;
- Provide professional opinion and advice to customers;
- Coordinate with business units to explore collaboration and supports required;
- Review the operations process, implement the necessary process revamp in the provision of Import Trade products to further strengthen the operation control and efficiency;
- Ensure all procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements are strictly followed and to adopt changes whenever necessary;
- Provide quality services to customers/ Business Units. Ensure all services delivered are met with the requirements and up to their satisfaction;
- Provide guidance to subordinates on daily operations;
- Provide regional support to overseas office for their business requirements.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Business Administration / related disciplines, or subject to managements discretion;
- 15 years and above of experience in trade finance operations with at least 8 years at managerial level and focus in Import trade;
- Experience in handling cross border trade and documentation;
- Professional knowledge and experience in trade products, particularly on import trade, and familiar with ICC rules;
- Solid and practical Import trade operational experience with ability to reinforce update market knowledge and industry best practices in daily operations;
- Good supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
