Team Head, Relationship Management (China Corporate) - Bank

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor team members to effectively achieve financial and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other divisions of the Bank, as well as domestic and international branches, to facilitate cross-selling and manage risks.
  • Support the Department Head in creating, developing, and executing strategies to meet the Banks revenue and asset/liability targets, aiming to maximize profitability and minimize credit losses.
  • Provide relationship management support by engaging clients at a strategic level to strengthen business relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Periodically develop banking products that are suitable for the market.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and guidelines, including anti-money laundering, tax evasion, and counter-financing of terrorism.
  • Implement effective risk control measures to protect the Bank from potential losses related to AML, credit, operational, or reputational risks.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of major internal credit, operational, compliance submissions, and external correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of banking experience, with a minimum of 2 years in management roles.
  • Strong marketing skills with the ability to sell banking services in a competitive market effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of AML compliance principles, credit risk, lending policies, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and marketing skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Established network of relationships with corporate customers and financial institutions.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua
