Our client, a newly established family office in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Investment Associate (Fixed Income) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth investment research and analysis, with a focus on fixed income products, to assist the management team in making informed investment decisions and managing the fixed income portfolio.
Your new role
- Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies aligned with the firm's overall strategy and risk appetite
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on fixed income markets, identify investment opportunities, and provide recommendations
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and credit quality of issuers to deliver timely insights to the management team
- Participate in price negotiations and handle other ad-hoc assignments as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a solid understanding of economics, finance, and company research
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry (buyside, family office or private banks), focused on fixed income investment or portfolio management
- In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, credit risk management, and interest rate risk analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and robust financial knowledge
