Responsibilities

  • Deliver significant financial impacts by working with stakeholders and cost owners in sourcing supplier solutions and services to achieve cost objectives.
  • Support ongoing improvements to be made to Procurement policies and system
  • Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including identifying potential suppliers on fair and unbiased basis, negotiating with suppliersĀ 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies related to procurement
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Provide innovative ideas for enhancing stakeholders experience and satisfaction
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities
  • Lead initiatives with assigned in-house cross-departmental resources and external supplier resources to support procurement objectives and plans.
  • Uplift knowledge and capabilities to deliver procurement solutions that are competitive with market trends and demand.
  • Hold high risk awareness & continuous improvement mindset in the Bank via training, communications and projects.
  • Embrace a collaborative & supportive culture amongst team members and for cross-departmental projects.


Requirements

  • University graduate or above and/or holder of professional qualifications of procurement or supply chain management, and/or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' relevant experiences in procurement or supply chain management is required (preferably in financial institutions, MNC or public bodies).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as solid experience and knowledge in handling the procurement processes.
  • Proven experience in collaborating in teams and promoting procurement policies and system for the organization.
  • Mature, proactive, creative, and independent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to perform under pressure and be resourceful in meeting tight schedules.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
