Chief Macro Strategist

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth analysis of global macroeconomic trends, market dynamics, and geopolitical events to provide strategic guidance to senior management.
• Monitor economic indicators, financial markets, and policy developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the institution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop macroeconomic forecasts and scenarios to inform strategic planning and risk management processes.
• Communicate complex economic concepts and analysis effectively to internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes, economic policy decisions, and industry developments that could impact the institution's operations.

Requirements

• Masters degree or above in Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in a senior macroeconomic strategist or economist role within the financial industry
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex economic data and trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Deep understanding of Chinese and global financial markets.
