Assistant Portfolio Manager, fixed income

Responsibilities

• Co-manage or assist Fixed Income Portfolio Manager on a newly launching fixed income funds
• Formulate investment strategies and manage fund performance
• Place cash in short-term money market securities to maximize interest rates
• Stay informed on global and local macroeconomic environment and regulatory framework
• Collaborate with internal and external parties for deal sourcing and market updates
• Identify suitable investment opportunities aligning with client/fund objectives
• Maintain relationships with banks and monitor market information
• Conduct regular fund reviews, analyze peer fund performances, and focus on continuous improvement

Requirements

• 6-8 years of solid experience in supporting fixed income fund management as assistant portfolio manager/portfolio associate
• Experienced Investment Analysts or buy-side credit analysts who are looking for a transition to a junior portfolio management role are welcome  
• Knowledge on total return strategies and credits on responsible markets is an advantage
• Proficiency in portfolio analytical tools e.g. Bloomberg PORT
