The Strategy Trading desk is under the Cross Asset Solutions of Global Markets. It maintains and develops investment strategies and products aiming to eventually provide cross-cyclical returns. Investment Strategy Trader is given the flexibility and capital to propose and manage his/her strategies on focused asset classes under the requirement of internal risk management and further develop them into greater forms of products or mandates.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, propose and manage portfolio of opportunistic investment strategies of in equities to generate return bonded by general risk guidelines
  2. Build and optimize necessary trading infrastructure to better manage strategies and improve efficiency
  3. Identify and provide facilitation to qualified clients strategically with liaison with sales
  4. Communicate and work with Middle Office Support, Technology, Operations, and Risk Management team to solve related issues and further develop strategy plans

Requirements:

  1. Quality of being a trader within an institutional environment (impose and manage investment strategies with sufficient communications)
  2. Degree holder
  3. Convincing experience, 5 years or above, VP-D
  4. Good communication skills to necessary ensure teamwork
  5. Proficiency in written English with proficiency in Mandarin as an absolute plus
