Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a prominent bank in Hong Kong as a Project Manager dedicated to branch renovation initiatives. We are seeking a talented professional with a robust project management background to lead efforts that enhance our banking environment and improve customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of branch renovation projects, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring all requirements are effectively met.
- Manage the tendering process, vendor selection, and contract negotiations to ensure optimal value and adherence to project timelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress against milestones and making necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and design teams to ensure high-quality execution of renovation work.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and identifying potential risks.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including branch staff, to ensure smooth project implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience managing branch renovation projects, preferably within banking, finance, or insurance sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at making decisions under pressure.
