Job duties:
  • Offer comprehensive support to designated trading desks throughout the entire trading process, including trade execution, verification, reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis.
  • Address operational obstacles, delays, and challenges that arise during the various stages of a trade.
  • Utilize coding skills to improve and expand trade booking and reconciliation processes.
  • Monitor risk positions in real-time, escalate breaches against internal limits, and create new monitoring tools for the trading desk.
  • Develop booking models for new financial products, along with associated checks and reconciliations.
  • Establish new accounts and trading books, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Execute funding operations, verify settlements, investigate and resolve fund transfer issues, and collaborate with Treasury or external brokers as necessary.
  • Evaluate funding usage and oversee internal capital allocation records.
  • Contribute to the analysis of trading performance, profit and loss, and risk factors.
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc or urgent requests from trading desks regarding trade execution or funding needs.
  • Collaborate with developers on initiatives that enhance system infrastructure and controls.
Job requirements:
  • Degree holder
  • Over three years of experience working on the trading floor as a Trading Assistant, Trade Support, or in related roles like Middle Office or Product Control within financial services or cryptocurrency trading companies.
  • Proficient in Python with a willingness to enhance technical proficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on precision.
  • Positive and proactive mindset, a critical thinker dedicated to continuous enhancement.
  • Adept at taking ownership, results-driven, innovative, and capable of performing effectively under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic about operating in a dynamic setting, with a keen interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
