Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our AWS Cloud Transformation Team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a critical role in defining our cloud strategy, ensuring seamless migration solutions, and optimizing our AWS infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and Validate Solutions: Work closely with vendors to define requirements and validate migration solutions to ensure they meet our business objectives.
- Design and Deploy AWS Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure and services that support our applications and business needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and availability of our AWS cloud services, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Server Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain both cloud-based and on-premises Linux/Unix servers and systems, ensuring a secure and reliable environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles, specifically with AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud infrastructure design and deployment.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix server administration and configuration.
- Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
