This role is for a technical support position and the candidate will be responsible for supporting projects/ services, particularly on In Place Upgrade and Tech refresh projects. Must ensure that the team's services are delivered on time and aligned to agreed SLAs and processes.
Direct Responsibilities

- Good to have skills:
- Resolve or coordinate the resolution of issues with other internal teams globally and/or with the vendor
- Communicate and provide status updates on issues to business users, management team and other stakeholders.
- Ensure issues are reported, tracked, followed up in a timely manner.
- Support Disaster Recovery Test, Live-play and Business Continuity activities
- Ensuring appropriate escalation to management and/or permanent control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contribute for implementing audit recommendations as per the agreed timeline.
Permanent Control Aspects
- Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
- Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
- Ensure audit recommendations are resolved within the specific timeline.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Required Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- At least 8+ years of technical experience in operating system (OS):
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x / 8.x/ 9.x
- Ubuntu 16.x / 18.x / 20.x / 22.x
- Must have the concept for handling in place upgrade and to resolve related failure.
- Must have Veritas and OpenSVC skillset to support daily operation and setting up for projects.
- Must know how to code, apply and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Eg. Able to break down complex technical situations and communicate with non-technical managers and very technical Level 3 senior system administrators.
- Preferable if the candidate has knowledge and skills working with Low Latency or Electronic Trading Network
- Proficiency in handling and/or contribution to complex IT projects.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team using strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrate a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Good presentation and documentation skills, possess good time keeping and attention to detail.
- Be willing to do work on weekends. Also be on call or attend incident calls outside office hours at short notice.
- Relishes taking ownership, being totally hands-on and comfortable directly interfacing with people at all levels of the organization.
- Be service oriented, customer focused, positive, committed and have an enthusiastic "can do" attitude.
- Able to plan, test and execute Production changes successfully following a robust Change Management process.
- Documentation on Audits, Reports, IT Procedure, etc.
Other Value-Added Competencies:
- Knowledge and experience with Ansible Tower, Centrify, Veritas and BMC software.
- Experience using or supporting VSAN, iSCSI, DAS, NAS, SAN storage technologies.
- Have good scripting skills, in PowerShell, Python or other programming languages.
- Have knowledge and experience using Agile methodologies and/or has been part of DevOps teams
Specific Qualifications
- A professional certification in RHEL
- Qualified in ITIL.
