Legal Counsel

We are seeking a junior to mid-level lawyer to support the Group’s expanding international business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who exhibits a strong passion for financial services and innovation, capable of working cross-functionally and cross-culturally to solve complex problems. The position can be based in either Hong Kong or Shenzhen.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal support across the Group's Hong Kong and international operations, including commercial, regulatory, litigation, employment, and general corporate matters;
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to identify and advise on legal and regulatory issues for business, marketing and product initiatives;
  • Coordinate with and support local legal and compliance teams across international regions;
  • Liaise with external lawyers and regulatory authorities;
  • Draft, review and approve legal agreements, disclosures, marketing materials and other documents;
  • Handle strategic projects and additional assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong, US or China with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience from a reputable law firm or financial institution;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly and take initiative in an international business setting;
  • Solid experience in securities and brokerage business required; relevant experience in digital assets highly preferred;
  • Strong legal research and analytical capabilities with a commercial mindset and solutions-focused approach;
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English; Cantonese capabilities is a plus.
